1. Are the staff that clean my facility directly employed by ServiceMaster Building Maintenance?
Yes. When you begin a relationship with us, the staff you work with are all employed by ServiceMaster Building Maintenance. The supervisors, cleaning team, and client service representatives with whom you work as a client work alongside our sales staff. We are all resources for you should you need additional assistance. If services outside of our scope are required, we can coordinate subcontracting of related facility services for you.
2. How can ServiceMaster Building Maintenance help your facility prepare
for flu season?
We believe that being proactive is the best approach to protect your company from the reduced productivity and lost revenue that result from sick employees missing work. ServiceMaster Building Maintenance can help to develop a preparedness plan for you that can incorporate various elements of sanitization, from additional products in your facility for occupants to use when needed to additional cleaning services at frequencies necessary to reduce the spread of germs.
3. What areas do you service?
We have clients from Boscobel to Milwaukee to Pulaski and everything in
between. Our primary areas of coverage are Dane & Jefferson Counties,
Milwaukee & Waukesha Counties, the Fox Valley, Green Bay, and Oshkosh.
We also serve Winona & La Crosse in Minnesota, Monroe, Crawford, Vernon,
Trempealeau, and Buffalo in Wisonsin, and Linn and Johnson counties in
Iowa. The ServiceMaster Clean® network provides cleaning services
throughout the United States.
4. What exactly are “Green Cleaning” services and do you provide them? Are they performed at an additional cost?
Green Cleaning is a way to clean through utilizing products, equipment, and systems that minimize adverse impact on the environment while still maintaining a facility as well or better than conventional cleaning. Many companies claim to be Green, but the true measure of the impact of a Green system is third party certifications. ServiceMaster Clean® has been at the forefront of this movement and has been working at and to reformulate cleaning products to make them increasingly more effective and less harmful on the environment. There is no additional cost for Green Cleaning, and we encourage all current clients and prospective clients to take advantage of such services.
ServiceMaster Building Maintenance is the only independent third party certified GS-42 janitorial service provider in the State of Wisconsin. Through a rigorous, audited process, we have incorporated certified ServiceMaster GreenFor® products and cleaning equipment into our everyday service. Additionally, we work closely with our staff during the training process to ensure efficient movement through a facility to minimize energy use during our time in the facilities we clean.
5. Do you have the staff capacity to handle large facilities or multiple facilities at once?
ServiceMaster Building Maintenance services over 300 facilities and employs over 270 staff. With the supervisory structure we have developed over years of learning and understanding the industry, we are capable of tackling any project or facility start up on any timeline required. We have support staff in place that are trained and ready to assist if extra help is needed during evening or daytime hours.
6. Who will be my contact if I ever have a question or concern?
Clients of ServiceMaster Building Maintenance work directly with their Client Service Representative for any concerns or questions. During our standard office hours, there is always someone available to take your call and help you. After hours, our 24/7/365 on-call staff will be available to help you and address any needs you have.

8. How do I go about getting a proposal from ServiceMaster Building Maintenance?
In order to give you an accurate proposal based on your wants and needs, we meet with prospective clients to learn about each facility, its high use spaces, problem areas, and cleaning specifications. We tour the facility to see it first hand. We then prepare a comprehensive proposal detailing what services will be performed on what schedule. We also provide information about our services, systems, and the ways that we can add value to your cleaning schedule.
