ALL IN THE DETAILS

Have you ever noticed a dark line along a floor’s baseboard?  In most cases, the unsightly streak is caused by mopping with dirty water.  Dirt is added to a mop bucket each time the mop is dunked into the water. If that water is not changed often, that grime is redistributed throughout the building, creating a cycle of recycling dirt instead of removing it. Not only is the soil and grime still on the floor, but over time baseboards and tile grout will begin to show a build-up that is unattractive and costly to remove.

At ServiceMaster Clean, our technicians are trained to change mop water and mop when they cannot see the bottom of the mop bucket.
