Healthcare Cleaning in 2022 and Beyond

The battle may be won, but the fight is not over when it comes to cleanliness in the workplace. With the help of life-saving vaccines, the SARS-CoV-2 virus’ threat is not as wide-spread as it once was, but that doesn’t mean Stratos’ service partners can relax. Even with the pandemic in the rearview, our team cannot (and will not) lose sight of the fact that creating a clean and healthy environment for customers is crucial.

You see, since March 2020, many businesses have been forced to pivot, altering how they function in the marketplace. Fortunately, the Stratos team was built to tackle challenges of this kind thanks to our tailored business approach. It will continue to lead us as we add new customers, like the Harwood Center’s clinic on the University of Memphis campus, to our roster.

Founded in 1957, the Harwood Center is a private nonprofit agency that provides education, therapy and support for Mid-South families and children with developmental disabilities. Although the location we serve functions as a school and child care facility, it is considered a health care clinic because of the individuals it serves.

This categorization, of course, brings about more strict guidelines for our team to follow. Creating a clean and healthy learning environment in health care facilities like this one is crucial because our work not only impacts the children the Harwood Center serves, but the families they go home to, as well.

Following the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we here at Stratos are more than equipped to service health care facilities across the Mid-South. Pandemic or not, we haven’t changed our perspective on cleanliness or lost sight of how important we are in the chain of providing a clean and healthy environment for customers and those they serve.
